History shows that Viet Nam's greatest asset is its people. Education will shape Viet Nam's future and determine its position in the global village. We have thus chosen to create Tri Viet University to become a flagship institution of Viet Nam's higher education.
TON NU THI NINH
Took place on December 3-4, 2010 in Ho Chi Minh City, with the participation of about 130 guests (including 40 international guests and 17 overseas Vietnamese) from academe, government, business, civil society, the media, and the studentry. The two days of presentations and lively discussions reiterated Viet Nam’s vulnerability in the face of climate change and stressed the urgency of having a “sustainable university” in place, which could act as a catalyst for science and community to come together in the quest for Man’s sustainable coexistence with one another and with Nature. As the first green/sustainable and private university dedicated to public service in Viet Nam. Covered by the local media and television, the event found a resonance with sustainability experts, educators and practitioners in Viet Nam and beyond.
